I love the British accents in this video, which reminds me. I have to tell you about my friend. He believes he can speak with any accent in the world and thinks it’s his superpower. Although I don’t think this power would accomplish anything, after seeing this video I just realized there’s one accent that will guarantee him at least some kind of power: his British one. As we all know, that accent has no competitor when it comes to classing things up.

I like to think the reason’s because much of the world has been suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, which has made us love the sound of colonization’s voice. Remember the British Empire at its height occupied 20% of the world’s population and more than 22% the world’s landmass. Sometime under colonization, we must have become unreasonably infatuated with that accent.
