Pillars of Photography Wisdom: “Little Gestures Make All the Difference”

Photography wisdom is a behavior imbibed not a training sought after!

I’ll be straight with you. I haven’t learned anything in life until I experienced it first. Unfortunately, this is a hard truth. By hard I really mean obscure, but by obscure I don’t mean unknowable, or mysterious. I mean difficult to discover. It took me a long time to understand that my mind prefers learning the hard way. But I guess that’s what youth is for.

So don’t be like me. Take the valuable lessons in this video and run with the wisdom. They are — honestly — some of the best I’ve seen. And also some of the most obvious. I see them as the three pillars of photography that will make you a better photographer, no matter what. And they are all related: 1) You must learn your camera inside and out 2) This way you can see how your camera sees 3) and most of all, practice, practice, practice since you can’t achieve the first two without doing the last.

Enjoy!
