Landscape photographer and self-professed winter lover, Vladimir Donkov, doesn’t think or complain when he’s enduring the harshest and most remote winter weather for his shots. He just goes, continues forward, and hunts for the perfect moment to photograph.
In this brief yet motivating documentary for his project with Hasselblad cameras, Donkov travels to the Moskenes region of Norway during its polar night season. Once there, he suffers isolation, freezing temperatures, and of course no daylight. All for the chance to do what he loves–making photographs.
